A trend created just for me? You shouldn’t have…  No but really, I cry a lot. Enough that I have an album called “This is me crying!” with just selfies I take when I’m crying. Because one way to pull yourself out of the spiral is to look at how silly you look absolutely losing it because someone beeped at you for not flooring it when the light turned green.

I used to get made fun of in high school for crying too much. I’ve sent more than one text to my TCRG apologizing for crying at a major. I’ve been told “maybe owning your own business just isn’t for you if it’s this hard for you to do the work”. Turns out, I actually just had undiagnosed anxiety and crying is my body’s preferred response!!! 🙃

But guess what, if anxiety is going to be a bitch it’s gonna be my bitch. So Imma keep crying in my car before and/or after a shoot, and Imma cry while I edit, and Imma cry while I talk myself in to posting these silly little reels for the silly little likes so I can market my business in the silly little year of 2024.

If you’re surviving and only sometimes partially thriving with mental illness I see you, I am you, and I love ya so stinking much! Keep up the good work.

1. Wherever you are in your competitive career, have freaking fun. I can tell you myself it’s over before you know it and you’ll never regret enjoying every piece of what you love doing.

2. TAKE PHOTOS. Even if your wig isn’t perfect or your makeup isn’t the best you’ve done it that day or your dress isn’t your favorite one ever. I PROMISE you will want them some day. You don’t have to post them, just tuck them away for future you.
